Machines of production that communicate in transactions

It seems that this is what we are devolving into quickly. Our purpose becoming solely to produce. Every interaction made to gain or exchange something. But here's a nice video to just throw away all that for a few minutes and embrace Georges Bataille's Philosophy and maybe rethink our lives a little

I'm five minutes in and the video hasn't said anything yet except 'work sucks', which I already knew. Whoever made it also seems to be laboring under the misapprehension that we all think our worth as humans is determined by work, and that we can only be fulfilled by work; the video keeps teasing an amazing revelation that will refute these ideas. But nobody thinks anything like that. We all know work sucks. We work because we don't have any choice. Also the video is AI-generated, and AI is the reason why you're gonna lose your job in the near future, so the whole concept is a little out of sync with itself, if you know what I mean. The medium is the message. I will give it a few more minutes 'cause I'm absolutely open to hearing a fun message about why work sucks, but so far it's a little thin. (Edit: it occurs to me that the script is also AI-generated, which is why it's not going anywhere.)

it feels like there's an emerging genre of This Kind of Video. Does it have a name yet?

What if... this video has nothing to do with "the philosophy" of Georges Bataille?

Our purpose becoming solely to produce.

And consume. There’s no need for production without consumption.

Leaving the concepts of modern consumption out of it for a second, you can't even have a primitive society without work.
