Timehunt. Time, philosophy, alchemy, tons of interactive puzzles and great flash. I can't tell you more, I'm still figuring it out.

Looks fascinating--there's an impressive list of the contributors (with short bios), including Neil Gaiman and Germaine Greer, here. Thanks!

the forums at unfiction have more info from people who have been playing this for the past month or so, if you get stuck on a particular puzzle or would rather try to solve in a collaborative environment. timehunt is the last entry under "other games and diversions."

Wow. I just blew an hour...
What a flash-tastic waste of time.

Wonder how they're makin' a buck?

They are sponsored by various companies, as it says somewhere in "the rules"...

This is so much fun, I think I have to throw up and scream for more! :-D

Sponsorships, I think...

And it's a pity much of this seems to require Shockwave, which my computer here at work (er - yes, I'm doing this at work) doesn't like for some reason. That, and anything involving sound is likewise tricky, as I keep the sound off... Still, I know what I'm doing tonight at home.

yeah, well, once you finish with this one, flex your brain muscles trying to figure out timecube. i know it's already made the internet rounds a zillion times, but it makes it no less puzzling than the day it first arrived on the scene.

Okay, now you've gone and done it... I think I just sold my soul to a web site!

I'm still trying to figure it out. I need to devote more non-work time to understanding. Cool link.

Some of these puzzles are really cruelly and maniacally difficult. If anyone's tried the connect-the-dots puzzle yet you know what I'm talking about (can't remember what planet it's on). I've completed a few of the puzzles, and the answers are just as confounding as the puzzles themselves. I'm totally baffled and frustrated.

In other words, this is completely fabulous. Thank you, talos!
