Damn, I thought this was another thread about the Biggie/Pac rivalry of the mid-nineties.

(I only read the colorful words)

Not only that....it's just wrong.

Wrong in the soon-to-be-deleted sense.

Wrong in the notion that PACs are evil unless they support Democrats.

Damn! My post about the "L Curve" (which shows the US income distribution curve if it were the length of a football field - looks like an "L" on it's side, with Bill Gates at the top of the short end of the "L") and about new US Census stats which show that the bottom 80% of Americans lost ground relative to the the 20% (in terms of income) steadily since 1967 to 2001 got DELETED yesterday night (??) - new links too. THIS double post has been around for hours. What gives?

Damn! My post about the "L Curve" ... got DELETED

I don't suspect that this is any great tragedy. Charts don't make for particularly compelling evidence of impending socioeconomic doom, though they are good for getting oohs and ahhs from the masses.

Oissubke - who said anything about impending socioeconomic doom? Doom? ....The evidence for a pronounced upward distribution of wealth in the US since the late 1960's is confirmed by US Census reports. Meanwhile many authorities, including the IMF, note a correlation between marked income inequalities and political instability.
