It seems to be overloaded already. I'm looking forward to seeing their maps.

This is pretty annoying. Why did these folks set up a cross-country survey, intended to attract contributions and viewership from as many people as possible, and not bother to assure it could handle the traffic?

Makes me wanna pop!

Preferably 7-up.

It was just fine two days ago, before we linked to it again.

Most of the maps showed a really scattered distribution, not a lot of regional variation. The only ones I recall that had clear boundaries were "whipping shitties" -- unique to the northern flyover states -- and "The city" (which unsurprisingly tended to mean whichever of the options was nearby, with a heavy skew towards NYC.)

it's working now--a lot of the responses must have been from the northeast, i think...the greatest density no matter what the question is there (i've found)

Not to mention that they forgot a couple of states, at least one which I *know* had some respondents.

Wow, major voting by the soda people. I thought there were more pop-sayers.

In addition to the pop/soda/coke results, I found the results on Access / Service / Feeder roads (99) and tp'ing / toilet papering (106), specifically because it looks as though my birth city (Houston) is almost completely alone in answering "Wrapping" to 99 and "Feeder Roads" to 106.

No wonder people have always looked at me funny when I have mentioned "feeder roads."
