"I don't want anyone saying, ‘I'll give you two firefighters for an airline pilot.' " The latest in a long line of trading cards? (aka Top Trumps)
Has anyone seen the Topps Enduring Freedom series cards yet? They have been available for awhile (I stole a couple packs from my local 711 and pulled an Osama out of a pack!), and in wide distribution.
My question is this: why all the backlash now, as the two sets of cards "memorializing" (i use the term loosely) 9-11 seem to be in a similar vein, and the Topps cards have been on sale for almost a year. I guess as long as Topps promises that "a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this product will go to the fight against terrorism" (from link), no one cares.

I don't have a problem with people selling these either, as long as they 1) realize and 2) readily admit that they are profiting off of terrorism, i.e. making money off of the murder of americans. No problem at all...
