Interview with Ze Frank

Interview with Ze Frank - "online performance artist and humorist". A link to the first of his projects, a wildly successful party invite, "How to dance properly" was posted on metafilter in March 2001. "I sent the link to 17 friends ... By Monday it was getting over a million people a day, and I was getting over seven e-mails a minute." See the various stats pages for a funny summary of the contents of some of those e-mails.

I second kev23f's enjoyment, especially as I missed the original post. Do we have a quorum yet?

It's been forever since I saw this, and I'd completely forgotten about it. Thanks for posting it, I enjoyed it as well. I don't know if we have a quorum. Doesn't that mean a majority? What would be the majority of 17,137 people?

stoneegg21: No, a quorum is simply the number of members that's required by the bylaws (or other constitutive document) to be present in order for business to be transacted. In this case, I don't think a quorum has been defined on MeFi, so I propose we set it as three. All opposed?.... Motion carried, we have a quorum!
