Has anyone tried the 12-hour trial registration thing? Is it worth it? Will it fill my mailbox with spam?

the fire you left me - Great post. Alas, I think IraqFilter is sucking up all the attention at the moment.

I'm putting a link to that site in my "Life Utilities" file.

Uh, yeah...my eyes are open...but what is this supposed to reveal? Are you somehow implying that large corporations are somehow...oh, I don't know...*evil*?

Charging people for the ability to access information. Why didn't the initiating pioneers of the Internet think about that in the first place? Oh yeah, cuz it wouldn't have existed if they charged from the outset. People need to put money on the table, but as more and more sites require "registration" and charge for access to their information, more doors on the 'Net will close. The truth behind the suppliers of commercial goods should be made available to everyone. Not just those who can afford the truth.
