Was it something about the shorts? Well, at least he's admitted he's got a problem. But is it all a question of waiting till he gets back from rehab? To what extent does cocaine - and substance abuse in general - explain much of the glitterati's outrageous behavior? Or perhaps the obsession with thinness? And does anybody still care? [via Gawker; apologies for the picture but I thought it would make reading the thread easier. ]

The only thing interesting about one of those hacks is his persistent good taste in hiring John Pawson, and the only interesting thing about the other is the fact that he should be on probation, if he is not in fact already. (Guess which is which.)

We get the celebrities we deserve, I guess.

Strike that. They should both be on probation, and only one of them is guilty of foisting Brooke Shields on the world.

You know, a middle class guy like me would've been removed from the stadium and possibly banned. I guess it pays to be a rich idiot than a run of the mill idiot.

A middle class guy like you would never have made it to courtside.

You just know Tommy Hilfiger is in his fortress of solitude somewhere, rubbing his hands together in glee. "Everything is going according to plan..."

Ralph Lauren better watch out.

He would have gotten more points if he did it nekkid. Not that anyone really wants to see him nekkid, but still.

Sprewell apparently had no idea who Klein was at the time. He later averred CK1 was just mumbling, and told entertainment reporters the two didn't talk business.

So, can we close the thread? Or is there another, far more interesting answer which the media are cannily concealing from us? Fnord.

Did anyone notice that the "security" detail escorting Klein off looks like the door man from a fancy apartment building and Jered Fogle the subway guy?

oh yeah, I saw this earlier at saltyt - who's not posted since.... (tin hat on! maybe Mr Klein silenced the supermodel blog?)

Just what exactly was Calvin Klein, the Fashion Designer, saying To Latrell Sprewell, the Basketball Player?

"Kenneth, what is the frequency?"
