Chief Moose Book

Chief Moose won't postpone book. Montgomery County Police Chief Charles A. Moose will not delay the release of his book despite concerns of tainting jury pools and the fact that county rules bar disclosure of confidential info and prohibit employees from using the "prestige of office" for private gain. Chief Moose said his book will not disclose information that would hurt the prosecution of Malvo and Muhammad.

I don't think this guy knows any information that would have any bearing on the prosecution. He was about the most incompetant police officer I have ever seen. It would have been funny if people didn't keep getting killed. Remember when he said. "You have indicated that you wanted us to do and say certain things. You asked us to say, "We have caught the sniper like a duck in a noose."

That was beyond bizarre, that's one book I won't be reading.

If I recall, wasn't this the guy who was all up in the media's face about "compromising" the investigation? I'm not apologist for the media, but these people were just trying to "make a buck". Shoe's on the other foot, now.

You're right. The only reason they caught the guys was because the snipers actually called the tipline to give the cops hints.

Moose added, "and damn, I want that fucking money."
