hair tips for men... " Psst... if you have a receding hairline, this is a good style to pick! Try shaving at the sides too! Or maybe tying up your hair! Experiment!"

Tonight's google search was for an 80s hairstyle utilizing square permanent rods - i still haven't found what i was looking for, but this was a nice momentary diversion...

cadence, repeat after me:
I will not link to geocities sites ever again.

Maybe one for the cache, for these poor folks with GeoCities or other websites that can't stand the traffic linking to:

Works like a charm.

Or just go to (what appears to be) the source. (But remember...Hair today, gone tomorrow!)

mmm - hey mischief, how come? (is it the pop-ups? not here thank you mozilla)... or is it some unspoken rule i've missed because i've only logged on about 20 times in 3 years?

Most geocities sites get turned off when they get more than a small number of hits. Some other places would refer to the page as slashdoted or farked. I'm not sure what the metafilter word for it is.

Regardless, the page is still there. Maybe they have a pay account (doubtful, there are ads) or maybe nobody really cares about mens hairstyles that much on a saturday night.

c: it was down due to traffic shortly after you posted. 'Farked' works, but lately I have been referring to these incidents as 'blogged to death'. ;-P

I say "MeFi'ed" myself (pron. MEF-eed)

but do you say "MeFi" as "Mef-ey"? Or as "Mee-fye"?

This actually was the subject of some debate at the meetup on Friday.
