It seems like the people who don't want to recycle will always believe the arguments against it, whether or not those arguments are valid. All they care about is justifying their existing beliefs.

And even though Cecil's for recycling, he doesn't even bring up the issue of reduced consumption of natural materials. That's another big motivation to recycle.

Nice piece, indeed, as so many of Cecil's are. Seen also on Flutterby, where Dan makes an interesting connection to nuclear waste recycling.
