Watches through time.

Cool watches through history. A series of profiles on important watches in the history of the electronic watch. From one regulated by a tuning fork, to the once-omnipresent Swatch.
Interesting site, thanks o2b. It reminds me that I changed allegiances quite a few years ago now. When I was growing up in the 80s, I wouldn't have anything but digital watches. I guess it must have been the Swatch that changed things for me.

Thanks, but I just recently bought one of these, which will fulfill my watch requirement for a while to come, I think.

Seriously, The Nerd Watch Museum made my August. And my September. I am now a very, very happy human being. Thank you ever so much, o2b.

That takes me back... my dad had an Accutron. It was forever lost when some asshat (who'd better evade my presence if he values his life) broke into my rental SUV 3 years ago and stole everything inside that wasn't tied down.

My friend Karen gave me the entire Burger King Simpsons Watch set for Christmas. Then my girlfriend gave me a Homer and a Krusty for stocking stuffers.
Since I had two of two, I figured I could wear the extra Homer.
It's a real hit with the little kids. They love to push the push the button over and over to hear:
Mmm... Burger...
