I did this one manually a while back:

At the time of the ampere, the thou Romeo of art of the wherefore of the Romeo and the Romeo if? the Thy father is refused and it refuses the Namensthy, or there is no thou, but me love and swearing with me, atrophy many Capulet how doing, is not. Is the Montague which? that the hand and the feet, is the arm and the surface other every part, it belongs to the person. Is there something in name? that, us the thing other name which is believed it shows from the candy which rises each due to possibly. So the Romeo that designation Romeo, this valuable Verkollkommnung which is maintained was, without this title owes that. The Romeo, it shows, the doff and because of the thy Namensthy it is the thee of the part which is not, acquisition entirely.

I think the ending makes it.

I love how "Happiness runs in a circular motion," (Donovan, circa 1967) becomes "Face to work the wealth in a circular movement."

playing with babelfish? oh, what fun! our market research indicates that if you liked this site, you may also enjoy farting around with google and ask jeeves if he's gay, even though they don't have 3rd-party automated web apps. yet.

C'mon, nobody's put the phrase "double post" through it yet?

Double of the tree of the activator of the exit

(include Chinese, Japanese and Korean)
Not a communication of the two-station

Oh, and "Farting around with google" becomes:
Google, of that exempts the wax

Ok, I'm bored now.

This game pre-dates the computers necessary to play this game.

Phillip K. Dick, author of Do Androids Dream Of Exlectic Sheep a.k.a. Blade Runner and Minority Report, among others, wrote a book called The Galactic Pot Healer in 1969.

In it he posits a world interconnected by a vast telecommunications grid--where unemployment is rampant and bored bureaucrats play "The Game" using oral translation computers to turn ordinary phrases into unrecognizable gobbledy-gook.

Here's a link to a newsgroup discussion of the game from a little while ago. Click here.

"Brian Eno's new album, "Curiosities" is, um, interesting," becomes "New album of Brian Eno, "Curiosities" , in the winch of her and it is interested." Horny little bugger.

Well at least it translates, "I have to say, this just isn't very good." as "I must say not correctly, these very good."

A variant of this game:
What is the longest sentence you can write that comes back through the multiple translations unchanged?
So far I have: "The red hat is in the closet."

Of course, for those running Mac OS X, Babelizer has been out for over a year...

You pick a language, and a translates to/from English until the result no longer changes. Web version here.

I forget who did this originally, but my all time favorite was translating "Springtime for Hitler" into German and back again.

The refrain comes out:

Spring for Hitler and Germany!
Germany is lucky and homosexual.
We march to a faster step,
View out, come here the collecting main running.

Babelized, it's not so funny:

The force that motivates for Hitler and Germany,
Germany is lucky and contents.
We happened to a faster point,
Volatilely who we observed the external part,
We we saw the pipe of the operation.

Why would anyone think that they need computers to do that? They do it every day.
