Ever been to a good old fashioned Pig Roast? (This one's different)

yeah yeah... The post police will rightfully point out the 2nd link is not yet so.
But the right wing has been losing feathers for a few months now, and it only seems to be getting worse.

My only explanation is that this is a sign that Bill Hicks has (just) now been released from purgatory.

ugh. I hate the man, but... this? c'mon. just let him wallow into ignominious obscurity.

Reminds me of someone else recently. He has plenty of outlets for his brand of bile, so they can take him off espn with no problem, but i heard their ratings are way up, so maybe they'll keep him?

Limbaugh just resigned from ESPN.

well, they tried--have to give em that. Maybe the Ahhnold expose in tomorrow's LAtimes will work?

If he really wanted to distract, he'd have held on and made a lot of noise.
posted by BentPenguin at 9:39 PM on October 1, 2003

ah, here's ahhnold, part one--this part is about groping.

What a career fact obfuscating loser. This really turns everything El Rushbo stands for on it's head.

I mean, if he can succumb to controversy this rapidly what does that say about the rest of his miserable bag of tricks? Something phony this way wafts. Perhaps more will catch on now. I doubt it.

It seems to me that ESPN probably made him do this.

I'm sure he loves it, as he'll spend the next ten years whining about how the liberal media won't let a white man say the word black. It's like giving him another clip of ammo, really, not that he wouldn't have invented one anyway.

shshshshshsh! you'll wake the dildoheads.

I can't believe Rogers called it so well. A lot of people ragged on him for writing the column, saying that we should give Limbaugh a chance and he wasn't a racist blowhard.

What did that take, two weeks?

Quite a few of our conservative friends stood up and righteously condemned idiots like Trent Lott when he showed his true colors, just as some are now starting to acknowledge that Bush is a disaster.

It will be interesting to see how many here and across America will finally acknowledge what has been apparent to most of us for years: that Limbaugh is a hateful, racist, jingoistic, sexist, lying prig....embodying the very worst aspects of conservatism in this country.

Stand by for a possibly similar defining test with the The Gropenator, and those who would support him.

It's nice to hear Limbaugh get his comeuppance, but I hope that the Schwarzenegger story has greater reach...

Article also features latest Schwarzenegger pick-up line:
"Have you ever had a man slide his tongue in your asshole?"

So, what do you think? Is it an inappropriate way to treat a co-worker in California? Dunno. Try the line on your boss and see what they think...

That didn't take long...

CodePink and California National Association of Women announce statewide day of protest, this Friday, 5pm, in numerous cities across California.

Now if only more of the women out there had registered to vote...

er... National Organization for Women, that is...

Sure, 9 out of 10 will slap you silly, but the last one.... ooh, that can make it worth it.

It's about time Limbaugh was put out to the curb with the rest of the garbage.
But I really doubt the ah-nuld story is going anywhere.
Anyone with a few brain cells already knows the guy is a pig. The mouth breathers that would vote for him will just think the groping story is cool.

Rush Limbaugh is overrated because the media wanted to see a fat idiot succeed.
posted by velacroix at 3:03 AM on October 2, 2003

You liberals are so heartless. You just pile on a man when he's down like velociraptors shredding their helpless prey.

Rush Limbaugh needs those painkillers because he's in agony from his "special Vietnam War deferment" anal cyst.

The philosophy of Rush Limbaugh (and his pilonidal cyst Hama7): If I say something provocative that gets a strong rebuke, it means I'm right.

More trouble for Arnold:
ABCNEWS obtained a copy of an unpublished book proposal with quotes from a verbatim transcript of an interview Schwarzenegger gave in 1975 while making the film Pumping Iron.

Asked who his heroes are, he answered, "I admired Hitler, for instance, because he came from being a little man with almost no formal education, up to power. I admire him for being such a good public speaker and for what he did with it."

He is quoted as saying he wished he could have an experience, "like Hitler in the Nuremberg stadium. And have all those people scream at you and just being total agreement whatever you say."

homunculus, i'm shivering from reading that. When I think of the racist comments he's made as well, and this, and the groping thing...i hope they know what they're in for in California.

You should be. It's as if tubs of grape jello joy are being vomited to and fro by the anemic left.

You'll still lose, as usual.
posted by hama7 at 8:46 PM on October 2, 2003

What the hell does that mean? Will any raido station do? I just turned on my radio, and they were playing Afropop. I like Afropop and all, so I don't understand how this is going to make me vomit grape jello. I need guidance, hama7.
posted by Ignatius J. Reilly at 9:24 PM on October 2, 2003

Oh, and maybe the anemic left should eat more protein instead of all that grape jello. Maybe the nanny state can get us some sort of nurtition beauracracy.
