Practice safe sex: choke a rubber chicken

Delux Rubber Chicken was short-lived zine containing some truly awful poetry and art. And as far as I can tell, they were serious. I love liberal arts students, really I do.

omg, this is too funny...

I'm also planning an electronic chapbook series called deluxe rubber turkeys...

"Heaven
and
earth
shall
pass
away
but
my
deluxe
rubber
chicken
shall
never
pass
away."

It's wonderful artistic expressiveness like this that makes me so proud of my home town.
Also, the fleeing.

Some of this stuff vaguely reminds me of PJ O'Rourke's "poem about nothing at all" which goes something like

00000000
000000
0000
000
00
0

Good old form over function. Deluxe Rubber Chicken sounds like it needed a good old DEA raid.

i thought it wasn't too bad. certainly not bad enough to mock.

In a world of claws and fangs, where
quantum theory refuses to recognize
corn laws, wise monkey clones slowly learn,
If we can't eat it, it's not fruit.

Goddamnit, and I thought I had finally found something that _everybody_ could agree on. Too much to hope for I guess.

Dominic had a toy another child wanted
and was bitten on the arm.

Dominic was bitten on his arm by another child.
He cried and I applied ice immediately.
I think he and the other child wanted
to play with the same toy.

i need you to screw me officially
overflowing with reliability
making the promise like plato's poetry
i hate hustling men out on the highway
stripping off his comprehensive reality
don't touch a forced issue louie

Wait a minute...I think that's an outtake from Beck.
