Pick your poison: highbrow (virtual tour of 10 Downing Street), or lowbrow (virtual tour of the White House). Hint: one of these is funny.

Heh. Never mind that - where's the hooch?

I shall never understand the American or British system of government without the Scotch on the rocks. Blair and Bush are the first to do without and a lot can be explained by its absence.

The Vermeil Room, sometimes called the Fancy Room, was last refurbished in 1991; it serves as a Hummel figurine display room and, for formal occasions, as a spitting room.

What in hell's blue blazes is a spitting room?

I am now desperately wanting a la-z-boy with my personal crest embossed on the headrest. That's classy. Oh, no, wait, that's fancy!
