Def Leppard, the reason why Q Prime came into existence, are offering a live mp3 for download on their official website. It's ironic, that their mangement Q Prime, are the same people who are helping their other clients like Metallica sue Napster.

Also Joe Elliott & Phil Collen of Def Leppard are going to release a side project album later this year with some other artists, as a band called Cybernaughts. The songs were recorded during the Mick Ronson Memorial Concert II tour, the album will be called "Boy could he play guitar." They will be offering most of the songs for download on the net. It's just weird how some artists see the net as a new medium to work in, and some others see it as a problem.

It's not ironic at all -- Metallica/Q Prime are suing because hundreds of thousands of people have free range over what Metallica "property" they trade. Def Leppard/Q Prime are *not* suing because in this case they have control over which songs are traded & how many.
