this site's pumpkins are a zillion times better, but way beyond the techniques of mere mortals. I like the extreme pumpkins and might copy one of the designs tonight.

I like the drowning head!

I saw this the other night and there are some excellent pumpkins in there. I would have to say the creepiest is the drowned pumpkin. Toss a couple of mini lightsticks in there and it would be downright scary looking.

For a funny pumpkin pic, try this pic.

Great site, xmutex. The drowning and choking pumpkins made me want to breathe in very deeply. Way creepy.

My favorite: the radioactive pumpkin. I am so making these next year!

Speaking of: Goatse pumpkin - @ [SFW except for goatse victims which will be instantly horrified into a post-traumatic fit]

That's fantastic.

(And I'd totally do the drowning one if the two or three hundred kids that'll swing by here wouldn't be traumatized for days.)

That Extreme Pumpkin totally has the true spirit of Halloween! Whee!

The drowning and choking pumpkins require props. I like the elegant self-contained (well, almost) simplicity of this one.

To borrow an oft phrase I read here, and damn appropriate for this fpp...

[this is GOOD]

They stole the "Trucker's Lady" from Homestarrunner! (Pom pom's pumpkin in last year's Halloween special. I'm such a fucking geek for knowing that.)

I carved these last night.

I think this one was my favorite.

Did anyone else notice that the one ssmith linked to was listed as a 280 pound pumpkin? Jeebus!
