I learned that human suicide is punished with duckhood.

My internet explorer plug-ins (such as flash) are all turned off and so the game, for me, involved staring at a black, blank page.
It was very Buddhist.

Comparison to Nethack:
Better: fewer ways to die, death less sudden and more predictable, much more time to ponder meaning, more open, less obsessable.
Worse: Izchak's comments and some of the Oracle's are more revealing and enlightening, less freakin' cool stuff.

If you just fall off the edge, you go straight down. However if you jump off some parts of the edge, it sometimes appears you catch briefly onto a ledge of something, before continuing to plummet. However this could just be a glitch.

There should be a strawberry to eat before you fall off the edge ( or the tiger eats you).

funny! nice link. i like little idea games like this. someone else posted the one where you're a fish eating other fish, gradually getting bigger, until you max out the whole ecosystem... that one was funny too.
