Interesting site. I've added my favourite store onto there (Ditch Records in Victoria).

I added my fave store, Circles of Sound, in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

No. The oh-too-appropriately-named Vinyl Addiction, Inverness Street, Camden Town. I used to spend so long there I'd get food & beer sent down from the bar upstairs.

As a (temporarily) reformed vinyl junkie however, I'm not allowed to indulge. Bloody hard as I pass 8 shops in the 3 minute cycle to work each morning (only one listed tho'). Good (but not surprising) to see SF's Amoeba in there...the last place I was allowed to flip out ($150 in 1 hour.)

Lotsa holes in the database tho'...get fillin' kids

Next time I travel abroad I'll check this out. Very useful, thanks for the link.

I also added my favourite store, Digelius Music (Finland, World/Jazz very comprehensive inventory). Last time I visited I lost 200€...

My name is fuzz, and I am a vinyl junkie. But I've got 12 years clean behind me, and God willing I'll stay clean.

On the other hand, it looks like a lot of my favorite places from the 80s are still open, and judging by the reviews they haven't changed much, either.

It's different with MP3s. I've got it under control now. Really I do.

I didn't see the place where I possibly spent every Saturday or Sunday afternoon between 1984 - 1988, Yesterday and Today in Rockville, Md. I fondly recall being treated dismissively by grumpy local band members working there, the hallmark of any good record store. But I haven't visited in years, so I don't feel qualified to add it to the database.

My fave store, Soundscapes in Toronto is there. Fave used store, Vortex, was not. Neat site.

I just spent at least 10.000 yen this weekend in Tokyo on new vinyl. Shibuya is crazy because there are upwards of 20 vinyl/dj record stores within a few square kilometers. I'll try to do some updating when I have a moment or two.

On preview, try out Hyperreal.org's Rotator Locator. They started this way back in the day and while the UI is very 1990s, I think it is the grand-daddy of all 'net vinyl junkie databases.

The oh-too-appropriately-named Vinyl Addiction

Of course, there's always Tuscaloosa, Alabama's own "the Vinyl Solution"

My local fave was there, but that's all I'm saying, I don't want any of you guys getting at all my good stuff. Of course, if they go out of business, then I'm equally screwed! Oh, the dilemma!

Yes, three times. Looks like it needs some editing.
