I saw a flock of a dozen 'feral pigeons' in my back yard this morning. Actually they were 20 to 40 pound wild turkeys, near emu-sized birds just pecking away, milling about, pecking and milling and pecking some more. Then a neighbor's cat began to stalk them and they flew off.

Very cute assortment of widdle birds. I kept breeding pairs of zebra finches in my apartment for many years. Noisy at times but pleasant company.
