Anyone want to see the inside of a Power Mac G4 Cube? Look at the size of that heat sink! (Scroll down a bit.) I guess that's what you have to do in order to avoid fans.

It just looks so... ordinary... that way... Apple being Apple, the first public appearance of the Cube was very carefully designed. At the MacWorld launch, Apple installed pedestals about 48" high, with opaque list plexiglass on the top surface. Resting on the surface was the crystal case, upside down. The "innards" were "floating" above that, suspended from a clear plexiglass arm on an all-but-invisible wire, over the case. The entire assembly rotated slowly. To see one... eviscerated... this way... Well, where's the magic in that?!

I dunno about that. Sometimes it's magic to see tech inside out.

kinda takes the fun out of it when you see its just like everything else. kinda like people. you meet a person you think is hot, and realize, 6 mos. later, he's just like the last boring guy...

Hey, the heat sink on my Pentium II is bigger! And of course, when you're talking about heat sinks, size does matter.
