Geographical fun: being humourous outlines of various countries, with an introduction and descriptive lines.
There is the eagle map of the United states; France as a ship; and Rand McNally's 1891 globe, which while not all that unusual, can be conveniently printed from the LOC and cut out to make your very own paper globe! Other "cartographic curiosities" can be found at the Yale Map Collection.

Other sources include the National Atlas (which includes a ton of interesting maps designed to be printed, such as these maps of Presidential elections, and Odden's virtually inexhaustible collection of map links.

Isn't there a country called Portugal? It doesn't seem to be included here.
