Well somebody should comment. After this post has been here for a while...

impressive images, but is the ennui that seems gripped MeFiers on this one rooted in the clinical, and lack of mystery in quality of these specimens? They just don't make the heart beat faster.

I work on a magazine that uses Lennart Nillsson's fetal/embryo images -- they're fascinating, but so weird--it's amazing that we're the result of all of that.
