She claimed to be a sporting champion whose brave and public battle against cancer turned her into a national hero across France. But when Florence le Vot was asked to become the patron of a charity to tackle the disease her conscience finally got the better of her.

it is interesting--it's too bad that she's such a giant liar tho. Is anything about her life true at all?

That's what I thought, amberglow... Is even the hermaphrodite story true? Sex change? When someone tells so many lies, how do you know when they've really stopped? Even 'coming clean' about the cancer is just another way of garnering attention. She probably figured she was going to get caught in a lie, so instead of getting caught, she took evasive action and made up another 'excuse'.

Shessh, just looking at her jet ski, can tell her #1 ranking is false. Where's her red bull sponsor or any for that matter? Also, notice her web site lists her "prizes". Whom is she trying to impress with her site, young teens?

Having a little idea what's involved in having surgery on your privates. Does it seem odd her prizes of choice would be sporting activities that you may have to rest from after having this type of surgery. Or, would take a lot time preparing physically to get back into.

The article is wrong! Michel Lafont is NOT a respected publishing house in France. Sub-books, like... like... I can't even give you titles 'cos those suckers don't even have a website apparently ! =)
