I've bought and framed some fruit labels from paperstuff. Very nice guy, amazing selection. And the art is often beautiful. They're like vintage posters only smaller and 1/100 the cost.

Just to double post - one of my favourite labels is orbit california oranges. And this red hat label makes a nice gift for your Linux geek friend.

I must admit - I just bought 4 labels as 'cheap' artwork for the kitchen... Thanks!

one of the last bastions of good -- I mean really good -- design in america, sadly departed once the methods of produce packing changed.

we've gotten all ours from paul jarmusz who is an great and interesting guy, and a collector as well as a vendor.

nice find hama7.

from an inside source in the shipping industry - the days of fruit and vegetable labels are over - as much as the growers love to see their names on the boxes, reusable packaging systems will seal their fate - and thus make these more valuable?
