Headcheese?! According to Wired's Infoporn, if you are the unlucky sap who own's an analog Sanyo SCP-4000 the you run the risk frying yoru brain. Perhaps if we all looked to the future for handy solutions, our problems would be solved.

AAAARGGH!!!

Far too much soup has been made from far too little chicken on this subject.

The power level that phone uses in CDMA mode is so tiny that it is negligible. I don't care what "Wired Infoporn" says.

And we seem to have crossed-up links again; your "HeadCheese" link seems to be a link to a biography of Robert Eglund; what that's got to do with phones I'll be darned if I know.

What there is is a whole lot of hysteria out there, and it feeds on itself. Cellphones are safe.

I think the headcheese link to Englund is intentional... "Use a cellphone and you too can scare children!" :-)

If you use a cell phone you run the risk of 'frying your brain' - Freddy (Robert Englund) is all burnt up, see.

Further, Headcheese is a rather unpleasant lunchmeat produced by taking scraps of meat from the more unused portions of an animal, and congealing them in gelatin. In short, it's kinda gross - not unlike the face (or head, if you will) of Freddy Kruger.

Hence the tremendous wit behind the initial link, and the connection to cell phones.

"Cellphones are safe"
Well, except for the ones that have bombs in them, of course.

I mean, is that a column or something? Or just semantic headcheese? :)

Wired's Infoporn is a group of pages that communicate some interesting statistical information in a way that would make Richard Saul Wurman proud.

I will continue to use cellphones but I wish people would not use them while driving.

Cellphones are safe, yes, but that doesn't make them any less evil!
