London Booted - A tribute to the Clash. In the vein of the Grey Album, here is an album of mash-ups in tribute to London Calling. Especially good is the mix of The Clash's Spanish Bombs and Outkast's Bombs over Baghdad. After reading the background (and hopefully donating to one of the worthwhile sponsors), get your download on.

I just listened to this whole album, and a lot of it just didn't sound very good compared to other mash-ups.

I guess I'm spoiled by 2 Many DJs. (They happen to include a few Clash tunes in their stuff.)

I'm flying in on a DC-10 toni-i-i-ight...

That's the only part of Spanish Bombs I could ever catch up with to sing along to, and I'm confident I'm not alone.

That "Spanish Bombs (Over Baghdad)" sounded like someone had just played both records at the same time.

"Lost Souls In The Supermarket" is weird.

I like "Spanish Bombs Over Baghdad" though.

It seemed like a good idea, I just wish it sounded better.

I don't care if it's good, I have a compulsion to download any and all free music I find online, especially if it's dubiously legal. Of course, I also ripped all my Sega CD games as MP3s to get my Winamp playlist above 10,000, so...

Jesus, jesus. It sucks so much. Except for the "Mick Jones Sings Def Leppard" bonus track. That's a little funny.
