Proof that losing one's blessed mind can be rather entertaining...

Here, here! I try to do it daily. And Moonbird, I've *got* to haul my hiney up to the hills from the capital city and meet you!

The various versions of that badger thing never stop being funny. It's like badgers bouncing up and down is some kind of (until now) top-secret and extremely potent funny-formula.

But where did they get that wonderful song?

yoga: here ya go.

The song is apparently sped-up Raffi. The link was via Monkeyfilter, posted by fellow bi-filterian homonculus.

Way better than Badger, Badger, Badger...

More bananaphone, no badgers.

Badgers are the new MonkeysPiratesZombies. You heard it here first. (No one listened to me years ago when I said shambling zombie pirates were the future of entertainment.) Unfortunately, badgers are just plain tough to exploit in feature-length movie blockbusters.

But, you know, when it comes to flash and bannanas, nothing come close to Peanut Butter Jelly Time.

No way, badgers are a passing fancy. The list is:

Monkeys
Pirates
Robots
Ninjas

One of these always expresses the zeitgeist. Right now it's robots.

Sequential, that was a fabu follow up.

Hildago, I vote Pirates. Aaaargh!

darn it, meant to add that I must now find this song on tape or cd...my son heard it and he's just been dancing around my computer and does the sign for "more! more!" if I make it stop.

So it's kind of a chinese-calendar-for-nerds kindathing? I like that. It's the Year of the Robot.

i'm nostalgic for the days of all your base. that one at least had a theme, made sense, and was fun to watch. this- just sad. and unoriginal.

Monkeys
Pirates
Robots
Ninjas

One of these always expresses the zeitgeist.

a great idea, but i think there are more than four. try for seven. or maybe twelve. Vampires should be on the list.

Sometimes I enjoy how much some people hate these Badgers. Am I evil?

And I wonder what the meme cycle is? 30 years? I suppose ninjas are due to come back around soon...

The Badger ... a self-styled crime fighters who rides the highways and by-ways of America, meting out bloody justice to jaywalkers, ticket scalpers, indifferent teenaged fast food clerks, in fact, any damn body he feels like because he's CRAZY!
