Yeah, in retrospect, I could have done a better job with my post, eh? Livened up, made it more discussion-worthy. :)
A wiki is a collaborative web site that can be edited by anyone. The free encyclopedia Wikipedia has become one of those sites I constantly visit. It seems that there's all sorts of new wikis popping up everyday (like the new Warwiki).
Where's my Patrick O'Brien wiki? My Proust wiki?
No matter. I have a Homestar wiki!

I had a Proust wiki, but it started to grow too large. I remember the day I finally decided to close it down, I had half an orange for breakfast, and it was very very bitter, the bitterness reminded me of the time I was in grade school and accidentally ate a brick or Afghan tar heronin, and became convinced that I was 17 white mice and that someone was trying to kill all of me to make a fur muff for the 8:15 showing of The Barber of Seville at the Orpheum. But as I was saying, I had half an orange for breakfast that day, as well as a cup of coffee with cream two sugars, which was strange because I usually took it black with no sugar. I think I was looking for a new sweetness in my life ever since Evette left I'd been more or less drifting, like that time I fell in to the Nile when I was 6 while my entire family visited Egypt for the corronation ball for Queen Elizabeth. I remember that the water was very brown and tasted of pears for some reason.

Maybe someone here can explain this -- how is Homestar Runner funny? In the same way that those children in the "special" school bus are?

how is Homestar Runner funny
I can. Homestar Runner is funny in that it makes me laugh.
for, you see, humour is subjective, and explaining a joke always kills a joke

I don't know what it is about Homestar Runner, either, but I find _something_ about it pretty dang funny.

Put me in the "find it funny" group. They do a great job with the animation and stories, plus pulling in retro references here and there.
Plus, not that this makes it funny, they're making madd money off the web, without ads. I gots to respect that.

actually, Krrrison, perhaps WE should be asking YOU why you don't find it funny... :-)

I can't explain why I find it funny, either. All I know is that it's an Office Event when a new Strong Bad Email gets posted. For me, nothing's topped #37, Office Dullard, but I keep waiting.
The office dullard is a clever foe...

[X] isn't funny. I don't know why anyone claims that [X] is funny, because it's obviously not funny. When people claim that [X] is funny, they are in some deluded state of mind, quite removed from reality, because, clearly [X] is not funny. Why in the world would anyone, ever, think that [X] is funny? Because it's not. [X] is just not at all funny.
On several occasions, at the urging of others, I've attempted to watch/read [X] and discover why people think [X] is funny; but it remains a complete mystery to me why anyone doesn't realize that [X] is utter crap.
Now [Y]...okay, [Y] is some funny shit and anyone with any sense or taste can see why [Y] is funny and [X] is not.
I just don't get it. But there's no accounting for taste. Well, besides the fact that most other people are stupid and ignorant, unlike me. That [X] is so popular is all the proof you need.
