The California DMV has a cool search engine for custom license plates, but pretty much anything with the words 'web' 'nerd' or 'geek' are taken. About the only remotely interesting thing I could find was TEKGEEK.

As if I didn't have better things to do... Here's a few more I found while playing around. Building a representation of the license plate on the fly is a nice touch. I wish our local DMV had something like this.

I can't believe BRNRATE isn't taken. I should call some Bay Area friends and tell them to get it. There'd be nothing better than breaking the ice on a VC meeting by driving up in your SUV with BRNRATE plates on it.
