Spiderman Quiz

Let's make it 3 Spider Man links in a day. How much do you really know about Spiderman? I thought I was well-prepared for this but it was actually kinda hard. [Warning: MSN]
I've never read any issue of Spider-Man (though I've read other Marvel series which featured him in it) and I still only missed two (#3 and #7). I don't even read Marvel comix that much. Either I'm ready for Jeopardy, or I need help. Which one will it be? Tune in next time when Spidey says "ooo-WAHH".
Also, Supreme Power by JMS is pretty good.

73%, not bad since I never read the comic, only watched the TV show.

Wow, well, you beat me. I only got 60% and I used to read them quite a bit. Perhaps the more you know the more confused you get?

"How much do you really know about Spiderman?"
Not much, but I'm pretty sure it's Spider-Man.

Um, yeah. Thanks, crash.
Ultimate is Marvel's new "reset" of their fictional universe
You mean they've finally given up on the New Universe???
I'm so out of touch. Is Peter Parker going to be gay/bi this time?
[please please please]

80%, missed three. Hadn't read much Spider-Man, but ASM 131 sounds really interesting, got his parents mixed up with Uncle Ben, and should have got who Pavitr Prabhakar was.

80% as well. I'm feeling more like a geek than ever before. Especially since I never read Spiderman that much when I was younger.

Yes, back in 1989.
I hadn't read a single Marvel comic since around 1985 or so (school and cost being the main factors). So I was pleasantly surprised recently to discover the joys of comic book torrents. Finally I found out how Marvelman (Miracleman for USians) worked out. Sublime stuff - Alan Moore and Neil Gaiman's take on the ubermensch-in-underwear is something else. And Sam Delany agrees with me!
Anyway, to quickly scan several decades of collected comic books you need:

80%, as well, and yes, torrents do indeed rule.
I am up to #217 in reading the complete X-men saga.

And in case you missed it, here's the picture of Tobey Maguire's Enormous Penis. The others are Leonardo de Caprio and David Blaine.

Ultimate is Marvel's new "reset" of their fictional universe, ostensibly to give their characters a "90s" feel rather than the 60s-70s vibe they have going on. Of cours,e it's also a good way to remove all those contradictory continuity flubs. The Ultimate X-Men is wicked.
Then again, I remember one reason I liked reading Marvel in the 80s was that it had just a few simple, linear stories, instead of the godawful multiplicity mess that was the DC Universe.
