You know, the message is true. My kids are 12 and 14 and they never watch MTV. Instead, they surf for stuff like this. (They love the Pokemon parody at Shockwave.) For other song parodies, try zthing.com.

the message is a little deeper and more disturbing than "internet is killing mtv". i was especially uncomfortable with the closing verse and scenes.[quonsar, wrapping up another 36 hour surfing marathon, gets up from computer, trips over 4 foot pile of (mostly) empty pizza boxes, and falls on a mound of unread newspapers.]

I was disturbed by being sent off unexpectedly and unexplainedly (well, not very well explainedly, at least) to somewhere I didn't go, to get a new version of their player.

I think it's viral.
