Duff Calling

Sure it looks just like just another promotional site for a movie, but then you realize that you can send phone messages from Hillary Duff. And sure, that seems lame at first but these are personalized messages that involve names and characteristics like "braces" or "big head." It really CAN be very amusing.

My daughter would love this, but I can't get the name option to work. Any hints?

MrMoonPie, I think it's sort of like vanity key chains---there's only a certain number of names available. So basic names, unfortunately, rule. Otherwise she'll just say: "Hey B-man" or "G-girl" and that can still be amusing.

I figured the same thing, but then I tried "Susan," and it still didn't work. I wasn't able to find a girl's name that worked at all.

Damn, that is fun. They spoof the caller ID so you can lay the blame all over the place.

This is so very, very wrong.

And kind of awesome.

But very, very wrong.

Awesome.

One of my roommates is currently refusing to answer his phone.

This is easily the funniest website I've been on in a while.

This is great! I sent a message to my sweetie, who is currently commuting home, and I couldn't stop laughing when he called back (he figured out right away who did it). This has a lot of potential!!

This will provide endless entertainment. The calls I've made so far totally freaked out their recipients.

Thanks for the evilness... :)

Hah! Freaked my sister the hell out. 'Someone called me a hoochie!'

Also, how cool is that spoofing caller ID? I put in the number of the time-and-temperature line in the town where I grew up, and her caller ID said "Lea County State Bank."

This is making my Friday morning at work so fun. I wonder how many friends that I can annoy with this before I have to get back to work...

Seems like it's not clever enough to leave a voice mail. Bummer!

Hee. I put my friend's home number on the caller ID and had it call her cell. Freaked her right the hell out.
