Imagine all the instruments listed above plus a pedal steel and a shirtless, bra-wearing fat guy playing a washboard, fronted by a tone-deaf AIDS-ragged transvestite with 5-day stubble whose croaking would embarass a bullfrog, all performing old UV, Bob Dylan, Doris Day and Judy Garland songlists, and you would have what was once the Opal Fox Quartet.

Rest in peace, Benjamin Smoke.

Mischief, that was indeed gorgeous stuff, especially that, joint-in-hand, "Mary Tyler Moore Theme Song" finale.
I got to see their very first show, in Athens, GA, courtesy of my boyfriend at the time, who worked with two of the guys from the band. hands down the best thing to come out of that relationship...

Arrgh. Yeah, a mirror would be good. Took forever to download and all the songs seem to be portions (end abruptly). Are they full songs for everyone else?

dobbs - I haven't gotten any of them to download; in fact, they seem to just stop at some point. Are you sure your downloads are complete?

aaronetc, they all get to 100% download but when I play the songs they all end in the middle.

If anyone got them fully downloaded, email them to me and I'll post on my site. I've liked what I heard.
