An aggregation of bloggers is attending the DNC, and here is a combined feed, courtesy of Dave Winer. If this isn't enough to send you into spasms of delirious ecstasy, you might also wish to explore politics.feedster.com and politics.technorati.com.

n.b. the technorati link isn't live yet - should be launching imminently, allegedly.

I love the "copyright 2004 Scripting News, Inc." at the bottom of the page.
What's there to copyright other than design and layout? All he's doing is aggregating others' work.

The one beneficial, original thing I've seen at the Convention Bloggers site is that Winer provides his subscription list as an OPML file. This means that if you want to use your own aggregator to read the DNC-related weblogger sites, you can. Likewise, the Feedster site does have a syndication feed (and I might mention has been around since February!). And, on preview, Feedster copyrights the original authors of the posts, providing another vote in its favor!

I have arrived in Boston, and the security is SERIOUS. There are police officers, dogs, army guys, helicopters... and that's just in my hotel room.
Dave Barry is blogging too, for you traditionalists.

I want to be a delegate one day (watching the coverage, it always seems like such a fun time)

Had to smile...
Dave got quoted by Rueters today and, naturally, points this out on Scripting News. Rather than post a link to the Reuters bit, he posts a screenshot. You know...just in case someone were to "edit" the original... (cough, cough).

Actually, that's not true. I should have looked more closely. He posted a link and a screenshot. You know...just in case someone were to "edit" the original... (cough, cough).

You can have a copyright on a collection of material even when the individual contributions are copyrighted to their authors. Look at the bottom of this page.
