At least Nader tried to debate...

How classy. "You will not be allowed in this debate."

Is it any wonder why my emails to the CPD were returned with the following:

"You recently sent an email to the Commission on Presidential Debates. Due to a technical error, your message was not received. If you still require assistance, we invite you to resubmit your message."

Oh, you bet I'll resubmit. I'll resubmit that you suck.

In one striking example, Nader has proven the "creeping tyranny" is not paranoia. Fuck both of them. I'm voting for Nader.

The thing that erks me is that he was trying to get into an alternative viewing site on campus. He wasn't even trying to get into the debate hall itself. What sort of problems did they think he'd impose watching the debates at an alternative viewing site?

Man, some people are just total wankers.

Nader: "Imagine that, a private company -- controlled by the two major parties and funded by beer, tobacco, auto and other corporations -- misused police power to exclude me from the premises, even though I had a ticket to enter issued by the debate commission themselves."

According to a Nader 2000 press release, this vulgar act of political exclusion marks "the beginning of the end of the Commission on Presidential Debates." Let's hope so.

Nader rides the bus and subway instead of a limo. Is there any reason not to like this guy?

Check the photo. And I saw it written in the AP release, but I can't find that.

What's even more disappointing is that none of the networks even said anything about what appears to have been a massive demonstration outside. The always wonderful Fox News had a post-debate interview with Buchanan though (side note: supposedly Rupert Murdoch has contributed to Gore's campaign). Throughout the debate I couldn't stop thinking about how it would go if he and Pat were in the debates. Any ground Bush tried to make with far right wingers (like the Supreme court thing) Buchanan would steal, and everything Gore tried to say Nader could totally nail him on.
