Life may be good, but this video on the other hand, is in the words of John in DC, "little more than a series of fag jokes."

Yeah, who is the guy in the pink shirt even supposed to be?

Oh, McGreevy. Sheesh, yeah it's just a bunch of fag jokes.

yeah, this one lacks inspiration, I'd say.

I guess I'm the only fag who likes fag jokes, then. Sheesh people, lighten up.

I didn't think it was gay-bashing, but I got the feeling of someone coming very late to the scene and vaguely realizing that people were making gay jokes about Kerry and Edwards four months ago, and then not knowing how to make it funny, or that it never was.

I think the best thing Jib Jab ever did was their Founding Fathers rap. That was much more clever.

A. reductionism is the whole point of political humor, so the fag jokes fit right in, and

B. it's not hateful towards gays, as it's not saying anything about being gay, only that it'd be funny to see these stiff uptight types go a little Homo.

Seriously, unclench a wee bit.

But not around McGreevy.

Also, Clinton got slapped twice by Hilary in this one!

Eh. It would be one thing if it was fag jokes put into some new, more humorous context, but it's juvenile right-out-of-the-box homophobe cliche, and the whole JibJab shtick is now getting kind of repetitive. It's not like we should be marching in the streets because this is "hateful towards gays," it's just that there's not much left over get very excited about. IMO.

Not as funny. Too much about gays and not enough about the candidates. Did they run out of political jokes and figured they could shunt over to some gay jokes?

Lightning rarely strikes in the same place twice. I thought it was ok, but not as good as the last one, and that they were trying to hard this time. On the other hand, the style is great. I really like the way they animate the characters.

not very funny. The first was mildly amusing, the second just mild. There's a lot of funny shit about both Kerry and Bush that they didn't even get close to, and the sucked too.

that was terrible

not at all as good as This Land is Your Land--it's too cheap and easy to turn it all into fag jokes.
