Thanks a lot. I was thinking about trying to find these on the web somewhere, but you did all of the work for me.

Where does she get all that bandwidth, sweet bandwidth?!

torrent links, please

I read the faq. I don't see where it's require to have BT links in a post.

Holy gods, this was among the best clips I've ever seen. Damn!

Homo-ism? Hehehe. Nice stuff.

If there is a God, Thank God for the Daily Show, without it which the world would be a darker and meaner place.

If you don't have a torrent link to the thread, eyeballkid, then don't bother responding to my request. It's of no interest to you, and you're of no interest to me.

my god what a dick.

Thanks homunculus! I was looking for these myself.

Techno provincialism at its finest.... Lighten up, dude. Not everybody can run BitTorrent from their work PC, not everybody is cool with the idea of running it at all, for that matter -- no, I've never heard of a BitTorrent exploit, but are you going to sit there and tell me that an application that shares your bandwidth couldn't have one?

So just lighten up.

Plus, it's only a 10 MB file.

Plus, it downloaded in about .1 seconds.

I took fff's comment as a joke. Maybe it wasn't, in which case, dude, lighten up, its not a big file and the link is fast.

Oh well.

I would have waited to download it if it took 45 minutes because it is awesome, funny and the bitter election steam vent I needed.

So just lighten up.

I made a three word request with no judgements made on anyone.

Pray tell, why the fuck anyone should have a problem with that?
posted by five fresh fish at 10:59 AM on November 5, 2004

fff, True, you did even say please and I can't remember the last time I saw someone say please in the Blue. I hereby retract my call to lighten up. But I still recommend downloading it anyway, it'll make you laugh and we all need to laugh now.

Maybe it was eyeballkid's response that made it seem like more of a snark? I don't know.

My only exposure to Bit Torrent was less than impressive (the downloadable F 9/11 from last week). I'll have to try it again on another one of these files soon.

FFF: "... and you're of no interest to me."

That's why.
posted by lodurr at 3:27 PM on November 5, 2004

Sorry, what? I made a simple, polite, three-word request, EBK attacked me, and you spun it into a rant about BitTorrent.

I hardly think I'm the one that needs to lighten up.
posted by five fresh fish at 7:26 PM on November 5, 2004

OK, this is the last I'll offer on this, but here's the actual sequence:

FFF: "If you don't have a torrent link to the thread, eyeballkid, then don't bother responding to my request. It's of no interest to you, and you're of no interest to me."

FFF: "I made a three word request with no judgements made on anyone."

I fail to see how there's an absence of value judgements here. Own up to your own behavior.

BTW, it wasn't a rant about bit torrent. It was a rant about people who demand things like bit torrent and then get huffy when people don't "get" it.
