that has got to be the worst "loading" animation ever...

That's the loading message? I thought it was the SoundToy itself and I just wasn't getting it. I kept clicking on things, trying to figure out where the line would connect to next.

It's 1987 and I'm rockin' it.

Yes, that loading animation is terrible. Who the hell comes up with a loading animation that doesn't tell you it's a loading animation until halfway through?

Don't know what I think abuot the SoundToy yet, I'll let you know in two days, when it's loaded.

HA! Me too, turaho. I hope it gets better.

Hmm, it's just a very basic sequencer with depeche mode samples (and a really bad UI, but then again what do you expect if you can't even use right click). Oh well, whatever works for you, but I suggest people not spend their evening waiting for it to load with great expectations. Unless they're waiting while reading "Great Expectations", which is a pretty pleasant way to spend an evening, even if it is a friday.

Worst. Sequencer. Ever. Completely and utterly frusterating to use. The Ali G sequencer kicked ass.

Such words are very unnecessary, they can only do harm... ;)

There's an audible gap between each two bars. Unacceptable.

I thought it was fairly obvious it was loading animation once the first two boxes turned out to be an L and an O...

Too bad it took five minutes for the L and O to show up.

Clearly, the loading page needed a loading page.

Actually, yeah, I rescind my earlier comment. Nice samples, but the sequencer is A1-lame.

Neat idea, crapulent interface.

DM needs to stop re-releasing DVDs and compilations and whatnot and start working on another album. Preferably one that doesn't sound very much like Exciter.

i'd like to see a Prince version, if only cause all his little frills are so ocd-complete. if this interface can be/is standardized i could imagine it being an excellent tool for exorcizing ones personal musical phrase demons.
