Geeks get behind Al. He maybe behind Shrub in the polls, but who cares when you have geeks on your side.

You can even buy a pocket protector. The guy next to Al in the photo is the site's creator. He is supposedly the Dean of Computer Science at CMU.

Yup he's CMU's dean of Computer Science, my dean I guess. He spammed the entire CS department when he released the site, which I thought was very inappropriate, since he's using his job for self-promotion. I wonder if he was hoping that some Undergrad would post it up on Slashdot.

Any real geek is voting for Nader, especially after the debate on wired.com where Nader exposed Gore's role in the big telecom mergers.

Someone should start up a www.geeksfornader.com

Aren't all the real geeks Libertarians?

Obviously, the reason none of these people are supporting Bush is that their hearts have been turned dark by the internet.

Nah, they're independents. Either they spend too much time doing Real Work to care about politics, or they have Serious Issues with the major parties and consider minor parties to be irrelevant.

As a guy who codes in VB on NT and likes doing that, I can't possibly be a Real Geek, though, so I vote Republican.

Well, there is a veteransfornader.org and many of us are geeks... close enough?

The geeks should be behind Gore. After all, if you view the source code of his site you can see a very special message just for the geeks.

"He plans to use this space".

He never actually *did* anything about it, though, did he?
