And he said to my mom hey gina ( that's my mom's name) did you now that I bought 40$ wrath of gum and I said " You just have to tess me uaaa?" And he said "Yep"!

I don't even know where to begin.

(Although "40-Dollar Wrath" might make a good name for a rapper.)

Do the ages of the respondents seem a little high to anyone else? These don't sound like 10-13 year olds -- they sound like 6 year olds. And then there's the story of Kirsty B:

I had some gum in my month and blow a bubble so big it coverd my face and it got stuck to my false teeth, so i had to go to the dentist and he was sick when he seen the gum on my teeth.

I always associated Dubble Bubble with spooky old ladies and halloween, since that's the only time I saw it. It the gum pantheon of the 70's it was definitely sub-Bazooka.
