Bah and the Humbugs!

No Xmas in U.S. this year: Santa on Fed's "No Fly" list.
Okay, that's just "News" from the website of satiric rockers Bah and the Humbugs, skewering Xmas since 1985. MP3s of the entirety of this year's CD Farhenheit 12/25 are available on the website, or you can buy the CD for $10 and all ten sheckles go to the UN World Food Programme. More tracks here, including the "Jolly Roger the Xmas Pirate" series and "Free the Reindeer. " Great stuff for that awkward holiday family get-together, where the music won't offend but the cool lyrics can keep you chuckling to yourself all night.

I was almost going to say something positive for "Jolly Roger the Xmas Pirate", but then I listened to it...

Not to be a bummer during this joyous holiday season, but this stuff is hardly worth people's time. Poorly written, poor musicianship, not entirely well performed... Make no mistake, I appreciate people trying to make the world a funnier place, but in a musical spectrum where we have Bob Rivers, this is not the top of the heap. But hey, it's free, right?

Although, I have to say, if they really have been doing this for 20 years, there's something missing in that number.

Wish I'd found this thread before xmas! Thanks shane, some of this stuff is hilarious!

Balisong did you really listen to jolly roger? Because I was laughing out loud at a lot of that. Free the reindeer was also pretty funny.

That Farenheit 12/25 song is kind of lame tho, I see what you mean jscott. anyway, thanks, good link.
