Friday Fun - early

Friday Fun Might as well be Friday, really, especially in Texas where we're shutting down the state due to snow. Here's a fun, free online game where you can make penguins dive all day long without getting tired (you OR them). Highly reminiscent of playing too hard for too long doing the same thing over and over when you were a kid, except you don't have to wait for your turn. Or come home in wet, cold clothes crying. You're Everypenguin.

Kind of like these games.

Any game with penguins in it can't be all bad. Especially if I get to hit them with a stick!

That Dive Entry judge is a real bear!

Wait... snow? Holy crap, snow in Dallas. I saw six or seven inches stick on the ground for a few weeks in OK City, once, but in TX..... Enjoy the variety and the chaos while it lasts.

I suck at these things, and I've already got two 30s.
(That's not to say it's not cute. Just not hard.)

30!!! Choke on that, penguins in the background!

Man, I can't stick the landing. I should get points for consistently bellyflopping!

woohoo, perfection [ssp for my flash skillz].

[currently in Dallas watching the snow accumulate. cursing myself for procrastinating the shopping.]

Hmm.... missed the notice about the whole state shutting down. Does this mean I can go home? [it was 75 yesterday!]

I can't believe there's snow forecast for Houston on Christmas Eve.

The last time I experienced snow here was in 1973. The ground was barely coated with the stuff, and school was cancelled.

So, when I moved to the mountains of New Mexico, I thought I'd hardly ever have to go to school. WRONG! Had to walk to school uphill both ways in several feet of snow. Dammit.

I spent far too long on that to get a 30. Stupid rotation judge.

I'm still sucking at this. And I have actual paid work waiting to be done. Curse your fun penguins!

I got two 30s and two 29.4s in about eight tries. I think they're being nice 'cause it's the holidays and all.

I live in the Okanagan, British Columbia. I just walked a half-hour home and will swear up and down that it is at least +4C.

We're having a green Christmas yet again, far as I can tell.

I love this place.

Sorry, Texas.

I got the memo about the state closing, but I didn't wanna post it and start a n00b flamewar. :)

Yes, it's snowing. It was 60 degrees yesterday, and it's 30 today. And this was the day I decided to do all my shopping. :(

I thought it was lovely. (The snow, not the penguins, though those were a nice 10 minute distraction too) By the way, how do I get past the #@#$% rotation judge?

Got 30 3 times... but now it's midnight, and my wife is mad :-( should've married a penguin.

Penguins are cool. This was pretty good, but I still prefer the yeti games...I think it's the sound effects from the Yeti games that give them an edge.
