Holy crap, how high can you get those RC airplanes?

They have cameras, but we don't have cameras.

[This is cool]

The planes of NY must've been intercepted and rerouted to Newark.

Cool link, thanks!

A lot of the planes are really high like NoMich said. How do you control them from the ground? Surely it would just look like a speck?

also, this pic of San Francisco is very nice.

Is that a country club in the bottom left?

wow. i want one now. better yet i want one equipped with a video recorder which i would fly through the streets of manhattan. of course i would be arrested and detained after about 5 minutes for causing mayhem in the streets since most people would think it was a terrorist attack.

still the video would be cool. way cool.

Yes, excellent stuff, thanks! (This replaces the steadicam-on-the-front-of-a-bike project as something I'll think about but never get around to doing ...).

derbs - that's Lincoln Park Golf Course. A muni course with a serious country club location and view.

Like Crackerbelly, I've got serious technolust. I wanna do that. Can I get one that will disassemble and fit in a suitcase so I can take it when I travel?

I'm ready to violate one of the rules I had for our kids when they were little. They weren't allowed to say the words "only" and "dollars" together in the same sentence. "But it's only _ _ dollars."
