Dr. Rumack: "What was it we had for dinner tonight?"
Elaine: "Well, we had a choice, steak or fish."
Dr. Rumack: "Yes, yes, I remember. I had lasagna."

While everyone is quoting from the original Airplane! movie, wasn't the "Hi, Jack!" gag used in the sequel, Airplane II: The Sequel?

Here's the script. But you're better off just renting it. It's good, clean fun. (Without utensils.)

Thanks, baylink. PWA, go immediately to your local video store and rent Airplane! now! It's an absolute classic, and chances are it will only cost a buck or so to rent. In fact, if anyone wants to thank me for my contributions to Metafilter (ha!), I'd be happy to accept the DVD edition of the movie as a token of your gratitude. It's on my wish list so it should be easy to ship it right to me! :)

If one participated in such Communist plots as Amazon wish lists, sure it would.
