brickwallers and douchebags. It's incredibly cruel but oh so clever. Exposing the band promo photo. You might think you look good but this guy will identify your weak point and skewer you with a bon mot - which is a hell of a lot more painful than anything else you can be skewered with. Even sharp things. A couple of favourites are this one and this one, which almost killed me. If you get it you'll know what I mean.

I disagree. The enormous quantity of unremarkable photos bearing not-even-remotely funny captions sends this over to very lame.

Eee, I didn't even get so far as the one Simon! linked, but still, the large run of "This band appears as though they could be homosexual!" jokes didn't really do it for me either.

Yeah, it's just as well this was posted again, since none of the links on the old post work anymore. Plus, if you compare the two, you can watch Metafilter's sense of humor evaporate, like time-lapse photography.

Ya know, despite the over-reliance on "Hey, this band is totally gay!" jokes, there were some real gems in there. I'm with loquacious and clever sheep, those two were two of my favorites.
