No doubt. When no one holds you accountable, you are free to continue to do the same thing without fear. The media may be be sitting it out, but the Citizens for Ethics in Washington has filed a complaint as a followup to the admins refusal to comply with FOIA requests. They found $1.8m paid to PR firms on behalf of SSA. The main contractor is Fleishman-Hillard. Who is a subsidiary of Omnicon (just like Ketchum). Who is also the PR firm for AARP. Should be interesting, given the attention being paid to USA-Next.
