The Way We See It is a fairly new photo site where each week a group of photographers visit and capture a different part of London in their own style, with frequently impressive results. (via)

I really like the idea of this project... I was afraid with a great idea, that the photos would be crap (as is often the case with great ideas), but to my surprise, these are really great photos!

I've noticed a lot of London photosites linked here recently... is it a phenomenon? Is London the place to be to take photos? Or is London just over-represented and there's awesome stuff going on in other cities too?

There are some really good photos here - pity the site is hard to navigate. I love browsing through the Flickr London Tag myself.

This is lovely-- I just wish they had included a map of London which showed exactly where the locations can be found.

Sigh. I miss London.

As a foreigner in London, it always struck me how people don't seem to love their city like they do New York. Maybe it's just the British way, but it's really nice to see others appreciate the wabi-sabi that I love about London.

jokeefe, you can use the London Street search on www.streetmap.co.uk for most of them.

I still don't get the whole "taking pictures of signs" thing.

I am a contributor to TheWayWeSeeIt (see here and here), and I am totally behind the idea. It's a great way to get inspiration - how are other photog's brains wired? What thought process drove that guy to try that angle?

Regarding the plethora of London photo sites lately, I suppose you're right - it seems like an explosion over here.

I must point out, however, that at least going from the Flickr activity, there is a certain park in another city which seems to have had the love from the net photo folks the last while....
