Hey Kids! It's Compiler Time!

Illustrated Notes from Computer Science: Tom Murphy VII gets more bored in class than you. And thanks to his free fonts, your boredom can look just as snazzy. (Previous Tom7-related action here. This guy keeps busy. I blame the 80/20 rule.)

Oh, man. That I'm a Compiler one was great.

Hmm... the term he is looking for in the "I'm a Compiler" one is, quine. Well, not really, but its closer than compiler.

I wish I had a name like "Tom 7". It's so 21st century.

Some of his fonts remind me of the Napoleon Dynamite cover.

wow, i like the wandering fonts a lot. This is the kind of exploration that paves the caves for less likely spelunkers to follow along...im really glad he's sharing this!

These notes are SO much better than the ones I took during my AI class. For one, they're legible.

Whoa, this is the guy that made the tombats fonts! I've been using those for YEARS and now I know who made them. Most excellent post.

More tom7 projects:
Escape - Fun puzzle game.
snoot.org - Online toys and games. Spun off from the now defunct snoot.com, which had online toys, games, humorous essays, and some other stuff.

I went to college with Tom, and he's one of the funniest and smartest people I've ever met.
